An economic immigration program that nominates individuals for permanent residence in Alberta is known as the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Candidates have to be qualified to fill job openings in Alberta or have plans to purchase or launch a business in the province. Additionally, they have the responsibility of supporting their families financially. The governments of Canada and Alberta are the ones in charge of running the program.
If you are selected for nomination through the program, you will have the opportunity to submit an application for permanent resident status on behalf of yourself, your spouse or common-law partner, and any children who are financially dependent on you. Applications for permanent residency are managed by the Department of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship of Canada. In addition, the ultimate judgements on these applications are made by the federal government.
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) provides two different avenues of immigration for foreign employees who are already living and working in Alberta or who have future plans to do so here:
An application for an AINP nomination can be submitted by applicants who meet the requirements and who live and work in Alberta and who have received a job offer from an employer in Alberta.
Candidates who meet the requirements and have an Express Entry profile could receive an invitation from the AINP to submit their nomination for permanent residence.
